Tutorial class held for political advisors to better fulfill their duties in Luohu
The Luohu People’s Political Consultative Conference (LPPCC) held a tutorial class on the guidelines of the 6th plenary session of the 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee on Dec. 3.
This was the first of a serial training programs, or “Luohu Political Class”, that the LPPCC - the top political advisory body of the district - had organized. LPPCC Chair Liu Guangmin was present, as too were about 200 members of the LPPCC.
Wang Dingyi, a professor of the Party’s history and building with the Party School of the CPC Shenzhen Committee, delivered a lecture on the guiding principles of the plenary session, which was held from Nov. 8 to 11 in Beijing.
Wang emphasized the CPC’s journey over the past century and expounded the significance of the conference. He urged the LPPCC members to consolidate their belief and deepen their political, conceptual, theoretical, and emotional identification with the CPC and socialism with Chinese characteristics, and always stay in line with the central authorities.
The CPPCC members spoke highly of Wang’s lecture, as it was rich in content, simple to understand, and full of inspiration.
After the lecture, Luo Litao, vice chair of the LPPCC, proposed four suggestions on the LPPCC members’ duties.
He said that the LPPCC members should fulfill their duties in exploring the path of sustainable development, help the district attract more investment, actively take part in LPPCC activities, and contribute to the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.
The Luohu Political Class serves as a platform to organize training for its members in a bid to help them better fulfill their duties.
