Luohu meeting focuses on Party history studies and sustainable development
The Luohu District Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC) held a conference on May 8 to study the provincial and municipal authorities’ latest work deployment and further promotion of the fruits of the 7th congress of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee.
Luo Yude, secretary of the CPC Luohu District Committee, presided over the meeting.
Luo said the district should seize the opportunity of cooperating with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, making every effort to introduce more well-known universities to make up for the “short board” of higher education. It should also provide strong talent support so as to build itself into an “all-embracing hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”.
Luohu should continue to carry out comprehensive Party history education, and promote all-round development of the young people, he said.
Party members and civil servants should provide a better work and development environment for teachers, so that they can stay true to their original aspiration and always keep their mission firmly in mind.
Luo said young people should develop a correct outlook on life, and consciously become firm believers in and faithful practitioners of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
The meeting stressed that all Party members in the district should learn and consciously implement the instruction of the 7th congress of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee so as to better serve the people and the district’s socioeconomic development.
Luo said the district should turn the instructions of the 7th congress of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee into a powerful driving force for deepening reform and promoting development, so as to promote the high-quality and sustainable development of Luohu’s economy and society.
